I first met Davis's Mom back when I was a workin woman. Back in my days workin as a physical therapy tech. Susan was our receptionist and the person I could always count on to make me laugh. The therapists would often find me hiding behind the filing cabinet in the office talking it up with susan, probably laughing about that week's episode of Modern Family or The Office. Its still hard to believe you have a son graduating from high school. I could have sworn that we were the same age (your welcome susan). And Davis, you're a stud and you were a great sport about shooting in the rain.

Its that time of year! Senior Portrait time! I love it. I love shooting senior portraits. There is no having to dance around and make silly faces. Seniors will just smile at you when you tell them to smile. I loved shooting for Melissa. She smiled when I said smile. When I said no smile she gave me a no smile. And she rocked that no smile pretty good. Congratulations on your graduation Melissa! go toros :)

For the most part I have only been able to admire this boy from his mothers blog. But this past weekend I had the opportunity to shoot his 2 year old portraits. And this kid did not disappoint. I was in love with his hair, his eyelashes, and not to mention his stinkin cute outfits. Not going to lie...a little kid envy. Here are just a few of my faves.

I had a blast shooting for Travis and Connie. They were so easy to photograph and very natural in front of the camera. We shot early in the morning which ended up being a cool 90 degrees instead of 115 in the afternoon. Gotta love summer weddings in Arizona!

I had so much fun with the Kim Family at Agritopia. They had two of the cutest little kids I have ever seen. One great thing about shooting in Agritopia is that Joe's Farm Grill is right next door. My sister Kayli came to watch Benson while I took pictures, so I treated her to some sweet potato fries and a chocolate milkshake afterwards. Yes, the best.

I had the opportunity to do a newborn session with an old friend of mine. Needless to say he was the cutest little boy. I think it was the first time I had seen a newborn and had gotten that little itch deep down inside. But don't get your hopes up, Connolly family, it was very deep down. I had an early morning session with Brooklin & Tommy the day of their wedding. Most of the temple sessions I do are in the evenings so it was fun to be there early in the morning and see the temple grounds in a new light. I dont think these two got much sleep the night before but they were great sports when we were shooting! These two kids are so in love and I wish them the best in their new life together!

We spent this last weekend in St George visiting with my mom's family. We had so much fun with my grandparents and aunts & uncles. Benson was in heaven with all of the attention from the cousins.
